Street searches go to NSW Spatial Services. Spatial layers use the selected coordinates, weather uses a rounded location, and basemap providers serve the visible area. Searches stay out of saved history.

Local knowledge · reported 6 November 2026
Snow’s and Tickles are road crossings of Coopers Creek. Properties east of the creek are prone to isolation; access that depends on either causeway is reported as very high isolation risk.
Englishes can also cut access in high floods. Local knowledge reports that its recently upgraded bridge can still be submerged. No gauge trigger has been established for Englishes.
These are community reports, not current crossing conditions. Automatic address-to-crossing matching is still being developed; confirm which crossings your route depends on.
Optional route selection changes the isolation indicator for this address only. It is not a road-status report and is not saved.
Repentance gauge · Coopers Creek
At or above 1.57 m: treat Snow’s as unsafe to cross. This community-reported relationship is not an official gauge threshold and has not been independently verified.
Below 1.57 m does not establish safe passage. This threshold does not apply to Tickles or Englishes; their gauge triggers are not established. Never enter floodwater.

03 / Our shared knowledge
These published community notes explain local patterns and what still needs checking. They are not live crossing reports.
04 / Add your piece
We’re collecting local observations to improve hazard reporting and preparation. A useful detail can fill a gap that maps miss: where access is cut, how much rain fell, what the gauge showed, or how conditions have changed.
First choose your address or a map point. Then you can add local knowledge here.
05 / Better with evidence
Record the location, event date, measurements and source. Distinguish first-hand experience from something heard from someone else.
Compare reports with gauge histories, rainfall and official records. Keep conflicting accounts visible; repeated copies of one report are not independent evidence.
MRN can publish reviewed summaries with their evidence and remaining gaps. A rebuilt bridge or changed road may make older knowledge less useful. Corrections help keep the record current.
Where we are now: public map checks, live gauge observations, community-reported notes and email contributions. A shared submission database and online review queue are not connected yet. Community reports do not automatically change hazard indicators, official warnings or crossing thresholds.
